The Girl Scout Leadership Experience is based on Girl’s Guide to Girl Scouting and the Journey book series. A key part of the Girl Scout Program is the leadership journey, a coordinated series of activities grouped around a single theme and delivered over a set period of time.
This training will introduce you to the Girl Scout Program and provide examples to create a meaningful, and age-appropriate, Girl Scout experience. As Journeys unfold through a sequence of activities and discussions, you’ll notice it all adding up to one great adventure! As a Girl Scout volunteer and/or parent, your experiences — and your view of leadership — influence and inspire girls!
