Girl Scouting builds girls of courage, confidence, and character, who make the world a better place.
E KOMO MAI!
Introduced to Hawai'i in 1917 by Queen Lili'uokalani and a school teacher from Kamehameha School for Girls, Florence Lowe. The Girl Scouts have enabled thousands of girls to discover fun, friendship and power of girls together.
As the preeminent all-girl organization, Girl Scouts provides opportunities for girls to discover their personal best and prepare for a positive future, connect with others in an increasingly diverse world, and take action to solve problems and improve their communities. With more than 5,500 members on all major islands, the Girl Scouts of Hawai'i empowers girls to find the courage, confidence, and character to make the world a better place.
Help us continue our work with Hawai'i's youth. When you give to Girl Scouts of Hawai'i, 100% of your gift stays in Hawai'i to support local programs, including those that bring the Girl Scout Leadership experience to girls from low-income communities. > LEARN MORE

FEATURED HAPPENINGS

Mahalo to everyone for supporting Hawai'i's girls!
You helped make the 2009 Girl Scout Cookie Program a "sweet" success!
By supporting this year's cookie sales, you supported Girl Scouts in Hawai'i. In addition to raising money for their troops, the Cookie Program is a leadership and financial literacy program that helps girls develop skills they will use throughout their lives like organization, goal setting, working as a team, and entrepreneurship. The 2009 cookie sale theme "Imagine If..." encouraged girls to reflect on their visions for their communities.
