It’s never too late to be a Girl Scout! You can join at any age. Adults 18 years of age or older can join Girl Scouts to serve as a mentor or speak at a Girl Scout event, volunteer in a troop or group or offer in-kind services. Membership is what you make it. Share your expertise or build a skill you’ve always wanted to develop. We’re looking for members who believe in girls and volunteers who represent the diversity of Hawai`i—women, men, college students, young professionals, senior citizens. There are several ways (we call them pathways) for you to get involved, simply by matching your expertise, skills, interests, and life experiences to the opportunities available at your local council.

Volunteer Now

We rely on volunteer support (must be 18 years or older) to help us plan and implement enriching activities for girls. Consider becoming part of a troop leadership team and deliver direct service to girls, or help out at our council headquarters. Our volunteers do everything from leading troops, to helping us distribute our annual cookie shipment, to coordinating activities and assisting in event planning, plus much more!

Adults working directly with girls on a regular and scheduled basis are required to become Girl Scout Members. If you have already spoken to a GSH representative or are a returning Girl Scout member and need to register for the current membership year, please use the form below.
