Girl Scouts of Hawai`i (GSH) thanks you for your continued participation in Girl Scouting in Hawai`i.
GSH is a chartered member of GSUSA and, unlike any other youth serving organization in Hawai`i, is a member‐based, non‐profit corporation, which means that its corporate members, acting through the Voting Members, are given the responsibility of making decisions that impact certain corporate matters and participating in the corporate governance of GSH.
As a registered adult member or registered girl member fourteen (14) years of age or older, you are a corporate member of GSH and have the privilege of participating, as such, in the governance of the GSH in two central ways:
1. By serving as a Voting Member (pre‐registration required) for the current membership year; or
2. By participating in various avenues provided by GSH to seek input on corporate matters from its corporate members.
This year, GSH’s 2015 Annual Meeting will be held on O`ahu, Saturday, April 11, 2015, from 9:00 A.M. to 11:00 A.M., at the Girl Scouts of Hawai`i headquarters in the Ala Moana Hotel. Voting Members will vote on the single slate of nominees to the Board of Directors. If you are interested in serving as a Voting Member for this current membership year, please complete the Voting Member Registration form. The Voting Member Registration form must be submitted by Friday, March 27, 2015, at 5:00 P.M. Registered Voting Members will receive the Annual Meeting packet via email by April 1, 2015.
