Outdoor Cooking, knot typing, fire building, and knife safety are just a few of the skills adults and Program Aides (PAs) will learn.

This training event is open to all registered adult volunteers and Program Aides.

Pre-requisite for all Adults is completing Group Travel Training online and successfully completing the online exam.

Girl pre-requisite is completing PA 1 Training.  This is the first step in CIT training (Counselor in Training).

The fees cover the following:  “Outdoor Education in Girl Scouts” handbook, all training materials, and snacks.

• Bring a water bottle, an empty tuna can, and sharpened pocket knife.
• Bring completed Girl or Adult Health Information for Council Programs form for each participant
• Wear closed-toe shoes, a requirement for all Girl Scout Activities
• We recommend sunscreen and insect repellent
