Hawaii Girl Scouts Need Family Support

Please join our Ohana Circle this year!

Why do families need to support the Hawaii Girl Scout Ohana Circle?
Cost to support each girl member in Hawaii is $240 per year. Current revenue sources provide:

    Annual Cookie Sale   $110
    United Way   $45
    Program Fees   $29
    Foundations   $12
    Fundraisers   $7
    Shop sales    $12

so, even with all these revenue sources, we still need an average of $25 to support each of our girls in Girl Scouting.

The Value of Girl Scouting

  · Safe, affordable, and challenging programs statewide.

  · Volunteer leaders who are screened, trained, and abide by the Girl Scout Council Code of Conduct.

  · Fun, friendships, and monitored activities with positive influences.

  · Financial Assistance for individual Girl Scouts in need.

  · "Cookie Dough" college scholarship incentive program. Over $45,000 awarded thus far.

  · Programs designed and proven to stimulate older girls' interests in math, science, sports, career exploration, leadership development, and community service.

Hawaii Girl Scouts are among the luckiest in the nation. Our volunteers, camps, staff, and programs are among the most impressive anywhere. Please help us keep providing the best Girl Scouting experience possible for your girls. Your financial contribution is needed more than ever.

Please contribute to Ohana Circle today.
