Interested in taking your Troop camping? Join us for a day at Camp Paumalu and learn to teach outdoor skills to the girls in a Troop, Service Unit or program setting. Outdoor cooking, knot tying, fire building, knife safety are just a few of the skills adults and Program Aides (PA) will learn.
This training event is open to all registered adult volunteers and Program Aides.
Adult volunteer pre-requisite is completing “Group Travel Training” online and successfully completing the online examination.
Girl pre-requisite is competing “PA 1″ Training. This is a “PA 2″ training.
The fees cover all training materials, “Outdoor Education in Girl Scouts” and snacks. BYO Lunch.

Program Aide 1 (PA): Core Training 1
Strengthen your leadership skills and learn how you can share your expertise and knowledge of Girl Scouting with others by becoming a Program Aide. Girls who completed the 6th grade and older, who are interested in working with Troops/groups at events and day camps are invited to participate in this beginner’s level Program Aide training.
Notes:
1) Each girl is required to submit a completed Girl Health Information for Council Programs form at check-in. Do not use the Girl Health History form.
2) All participants should bring a bottle with water. Snacks will be provided.
