Hello everyone! Welcome to Pow Wow 2013! My name is Catherine and I’m doing my Girl Scout Gold Award on Indigenous People’s stories of creation or any native stories. As a Native Hawaiian as well as a Native American, perpetuating these stories from our people is very important to me.
I invite you all to come and participate in this event by sharing stories, dances or songs, art, or using other multimedia at a booth at the Pow Wow at Thomas Square to share your culture with the community attending this event.
