Engineering Ohana: Celebrating Diversity Conference, June 7, 2014

The College of Engineering, in collaboration with the University of Hawai`i at Manoa’s SEED and SAFPB will be bringing to high school and middle school students, teachers, counselors and parents this one-day conference centered on increasing awareness of support systems to prospective & current students pursue careers in STEM fields, with particular interest in Engineering.

You and your students are invited to the Engineering Ohana: Celebrating Cultural Diversity Conference, June 7, 2014, 8:00 am – 1:30 pm.  Registration is now open and will only be open to the first 100 registrants on a first come, first serve basis.  Please share with your students:

  • Engineer Labrina Corpuz Apuya as our featured speaker
  • Dr. David Goldberg facilitating a workshop on, “Hip-hop as a Gateway to Engineering…and Vice Versa”
