Microsoft Grand Opening + Macklemore with Ryan Lewis & Neon Trees Concert

On June 13, Microsoft is opening their first store in Hawai`i at Ala Moana Shopping Center. Girl Scouts of Hawai`i has been chosen as one of four community partners (along with Goodwill Industries, YMCA and Hawaii Community Foundation) to receive infrastructure support and computers. Each partner organization has been asked to bring 100 supporters to the store opening on June 13^th. For every 10 supporters who attend on behalf of Girl Scouts, we will receive a computer, up to 5 computers.  Supporters who attend the store opening will each receive a ticket to attend the Macklemore with Ryan Lewis and Neon Trees concert the same evening, at Kaka`ako Waterfront Park.

Please register by clicking on this link.  Feel free to pass on the link to your friends and family who would like to come.  A registration form must be submitted for each person who plans to attend.  Registration will close once 100 people have signed up.  Given the excitement surrounding the concert, we expect to reach our maximum fairly quickly.

Grand Opening Details

Time: 9am-11am

*Our office will be closed on Thursday, June 13 from 8 a.m.-11:30 a.m. due to the Microsoft Grand Opening event. The GSH Shop will remain open during this time.*

Please arrive in front of Macy’s (Level 2, inside the mall, near Le Sportsac) by 9am. We will be holding a Girl Scout sign and will gather everyone in a group. All attendees must check in with Girl Scout staff upon arrival. Once the entire group has assembled, Microsoft will do their own headcount.  Attendees will be shown to a viewing area for the grand opening at 9:45am. After the ceremony ends at 11am, concert tickets will be passed out to the attendees.

Attire: Please wear a Girl Scouts of Hawai`i t-shirt if you have one!  If you do not, then anything with the color green would be much appreciated.
