Hawaii Rotary Global Peace Forum http://www.peaceforumhawaii.com/
On January 25-27, 2013, a global peace forum will be held in Honolulu featuring intergenerational presentations on global and local peace projects, peace activities, reports from youth who have attended Global Peace Institutes, and presentations by young adults from Hawaii’s schools who will share their projects that promote peace. The conference will culminate with a dinner with the keynote speaker, Daw Aung San Suu Kyi, Nobel Peace Laureate and Burmese pro-democracy leader.
Who should attend: Students in high school, college and/or graduate school

Where: Hawaii Convention Center
- To encourage young adults to take a global perspective and to believe that they can be catalysts for peace.
- To develop community and global peace projects involving young adults.
- To establish bonds of friendship and collaboration before the peace forum, which can be solidified through a weekend of working together.
Students: Conference registration (workshops only) is $200. The meal package (you must be registered for the conference to purchase the meal package) is $200 for students and includes: pupu reception Friday, lunch Saturday, dinner Saturday (with keynote speaker), and lunch Sunday. Total: For conference registration and all meals is $400 per student.
Adults: Conference registration (workshops only) is $300. If meals are desired, you may select the meal package for $225, or by individual meal—see the website.
Workshop Presenters Only: $175 for registration (workshops only), meal package: $225 or by individual meal as per the website.
Volunteers: Minimum of 4 hours of volunteer service: $175 for adults, $25 for students. Meal charges are as above. Meal package $225 and by individual meal as on the website.
